Virginia-based Calkain Cos., a national real estate investment brokerage firm, has opened a Boston office and brought on three industry veterans to help run it.
Stan Wyrwic, who will serve as senior managing director, was formerly the CFO of General Investment and Development Cos., according to a statement. He also previously served as CFO with Cabot, Cabot and Forbes, a Boston real estate development and investment firm.
Rich Murphy, who will serve as managing director, has been part of the Calkain team for a year. He has 15 years of executive level real estate experience.
Mike O'Mara, a 20-year commercial real estate veteran, will serve as vice president. For the past 10 years, he has been focusing on triple net (NNN) lease investments for institutional and private investor clients as well as developers and financial institutions.
