"My experience as an intern at Calkain exceeded my initial expectations wholly. Upon walking in my first day I knew little about business, real estate, and net lease aside from my modest amount of business courses under my belt being only a rising sophomore. The tasks I was assigned were all meaningful. I got exposed to legal and business documentation I otherwise would have never seen working a different job. Aside from that I have also been able to pick up a fair amount of mathematics specifically tailored to the industry. I’ve learned more than I thought I would, and none of it took a textbook. This experience has taught me to be self-sufficient; however, no employees of any of the offices will turn you down should you need some direction. I’d definitely say this internship is an ideal foundation for those wanting to get into any sort of business in the future."
